Sheila Borthwick - Director Sheila formed Aberdeen Cleaning Services in 1987 having previously held various management positions within the industry and is still a committed member of our team.
Joeanne Borthwick - Finance Director Joeanne has worked for Aberdeen Cleaning Services since leaving school in 1992. During that time she has fulfilled various roles and now has a sound working knowledge of all aspects of the business from recruitment to finance. Since becoming Financial Director in December 2008 she now deals mainly with the monthly invoicing and completion of management accounts, year end accounts and Financial Forecasts and Budgets.
John Borthwick - Managing Director John joined the family business back in 2006 having previously held management posts within the oil industry and has a sound customer services background. He took over the position of Managing Director in December 2008 and now holds responsibility for all operational matters, while planning and monitoring the day to day running of his management team. He is responsible for building and maintaining the growth of the company.
Gina Wedderburn - Payroll Manager Gina joined Aberdeen Cleaning Services in 1989 as Payroll Manager. Since then she has assisted in the constant upgrading of our payroll systems and recently managed the implementation of a new software package which will enable us to streamline our payroll functions more effectively.
Aileen Beattie - Area Manager Aileen joined Aberdeen Cleaning Services in 1996 as a Site Supervisor and was very quickly promoted to Area Supervisor. Her role to provide the operational support required by the company shows her wealth of experience. In 2000 Aileen was again promoted to Area Manager within the company and has direct responsibility for the day to day monitoring and checking of both customers and cleaners needs. Aileen has direct responsibility for onsite monitoring of Health and Safety, in addition to safe working practices.
Tanya Turlaja - Operations Manager Tanya joined Aberdeen Cleaning Services in January 2010 as a Cleaning Operative and was promoted later that year to Area Supervisor due to her experience and great eye for detail. Tanya is now responsible for looking after many of our larger sites and is a very conscientious member of our team and has since been promoted again in 2013 to Area Manager. Her role each day is to visit her clients and check that the maintenance of each of her premises is upheld properly by her own team of cleaners.
Roza Ginter - Area Manager Roza joined Aberdeen Cleaning Services in August 2013 as an Area Supervisor and took over the day to day running of the domestic side of the business and one off cleaning. By January of this year she had shown great enthusiasm and organization skills and was promoted to Area Manager. She continues to run these areas of the business along with the responsibility of checking and maintaining her own list of clients.
Marta Gasinska - Area Manager Marta first joined Aberdeen Cleaning Services in 2008 as a cleaning operative. Her hard work and dedication to the company enabled her to work her way up to Site Supervisor, then on to an Area Manager in 2015.
Tomasz Drozdz - Area Supervisor Tom joined Aberdeen Cleaning Services as our Night time Supervisor in September 2013. He works full-time at ASDA as a Cleaning Supervisor. His role within the company is of managing the cleaners, dropping stores, covering staff shortages and floor and carpet cleaning.
Jackie Law - Admin & HR Jackie joined Aberdeen Cleaning Services in March 2014 after holding posts as both offshore logistics Personnel Manager and HR Administrator within the oil sector in Aberdeen. Her wealth of knowledge and practical skills have been a great asset to our time management and HR divisions of the company.
Gemma Borthwick - Payroll Assistant Gemma regularly assists with carrying out payroll duties such as dealing with up to date legislation, pensions, payslips and holiday requests. This is on a part-time basis whilst studying full-time for a law degree at RGU.
Wojciech Ginter - Window Cleaning Manager Wojciech is our newest team member having just joined in January 2014. He runs the daily rounds of the window vans and the two members of staff and ensures that Health & Safety and safe working practices are adhered to.
