Company profile

Aberdeen Cleaning Services was founded in 1987, with the objective of bringing a personal touch to the business of contract cleaning. In keeping with this ideal, we have remained an independent family business with a second generation becoming directors and shareholders in 2008. 

With around 220 full and part-time staff and a turnover in the region of £3,000,000, we have developed a client list which covers all types of businesses including major oil companies, executive car showrooms, sports clubs and entertainment venues.

Quality control programme

Our quality control programme covers the careful selection and close supervision of staff, provision of all appropriate equipment (including washroom supplies/textiles) and ongoing health and safety training.

Supervision and training

1. All staff are thoroughly vetted to ensure their suitability for the tasks to be undertaken by a member of our management team before being offered employment.

2. Every contract operates to a unique cleaning schedule, a copy of which is held by each site supervisor (Where appropriate) and communicated to all operatives on that site.

3. The competence of all staff is monitored daily by the Site Supervisor – this in turn is re-affirmed by regular visits from an Area Supervisor.

4. Should any member of staff require additional training, this would be implemented by a member of our Management Team.

5. Anyone who had not previously proven their competence would not be working unsupervised under any circumstances.
